Children's Ministry Director, Rachael Tapper
The DCC children’s ministry is all about the kids! We strive to equip children with basic biblical knowledge so they can move forward in life with a solid foundation. Not only are we Bible focused; we also nurture a loving environment, helping kids draw closer in relationship with God through intergenerational ministry opportunities. Join us for Vacation Bible School or weekly Sunday School, knowing your children are well cared for and loved!

Sunday School

During service - Preschool through 5th grade

Sunday School classes are offered after a time of worship at the 9:30 am service for children from preschool through 5th grade.

Preschool through 5th grade meet downstairs in the children’s area. This space has been equipped with age-appropriate classrooms and open space for larger, children’s church meetings. Sunday School classes are staffed by volunteers who have a heart for teaching children about Jesus. Currently, in the Preschool through 5th grade classrooms we are using Grow Students which is a biblical curriculum which takes the kids through both the New and Old Testament spending about six months in each. With a fun hands on learning approach we are equipping kids to grow closer to Jesus.

Sunday Nursery

Birth through 3 years of age

The nursery is staffed by church employees and volunteer assistants during the 9:30 am service. This area is equipped with age-appropriate toys and parent resources including a changing table. We also offer a Nursing Lounge connected to the nursery. We encourage parents to utilize this unique space.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is coming up June 8th through the 12th, 2026 at DCC. The theme is Rainforest Falls- Exploring the Nature of God.

Registration is now open for participants (children going into their last year of PreK through children going into 5th grade this fall). We are also seeking volunteers. Please join us in bringing the gospel of Jesus to our community!
