Hope… which seems to align with anticipation has been on my mind for the last few days…

Over the years it has been fun to watch the different levels of anticipation that have occurred in my children during the Christmas season. From the joyous expectation, as Christmas approached, for toys under the tree; to a budding curiosity and excitement that something deeper was the cause for this season... That there truly is a ‘reason for the season’ and that reason is the hope that was provided by the birth of Jesus.

Romans 15:13: "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in faith so that you overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

I wonder what is the level of hope that Jesus feels for each one of us; his children, as we all are given the choice to follow him?
