Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing Party
Sunday, November 9th 5pm-7pm Join us at DCC to fill boxes, write letters, pray for the children, and enjoy a soup and salad supper. DCC to supply most box items, however donations appreciated! Sponsored by Children, Youth, and Missions Ministries.
Before the party:
1. Complete boxes at home with your family and bring to drop-off at the event, or by Nov. 23 to DCC.
2. Bring quality items to donate as we hope to fill an additional 100 boxes together!
Items needed:
-Wow items (soccer balls with pump, dolls, toy, flashlight with batteries, etc)
-Hair accessories, brushes
-School supplies: especially notebooks, pencils, sharpeners
-Fun filler items
3. Print photos of your family to include in the boxes
At the party:
DCC to provide soup, bread, and salad!
We will build the boxes together, write simple letters to include with your family photo in each box, and pray for the special kids around the world who will be receiving them.
