Advent 2022: Sunday, December 25

January 3, 2023

As Simeon prayed, “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel” (Luke 2:29-32). Every time we look at a nativity scene, we can quote this verse because we, too, have seen God’s salvation. This is why Christ can say that we are the “light of the world” (Matt 5:14). Rejoice and be a light!

Merry Christmas!
