Advent! What a special time of year. Yes, Advent has to do with remembering the Lord’s coming and appearing to redeem us, but it is so much more. It is an invitation. An invitation to enter into relationship with Jesus (who has made God known). An invitation to receive his forgiveness. An invitation to experience his redemptive grace. An invitation to enjoy his deep love and to feel his embrace! In a time of overwhelming consumerism, confusions, fear, and division can you accept his invitation? 

“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests” (Luke 2:14).
