The women's ministry at DCC is beginning a new chapter. We have formed a new ministry board and are excited to grow and work together as a team and seek God's heart on what this coming year will look like for women's ministry at DCC. As a team we have prayerfully and cooperatively come up with a mission statement that we feel encompasses the women's ministry at DCC.
"Supporting each other in Christ and using our God-given gifts to encourage and equip women to deepen their relationships with Christ, each other and those in our community."
Thursday morning Bible Study: beginning September 17, 2009. Two different studies are being offered this fall, "Praying the Psalms" and "Believing God," a Beth Moore study. Preschool nursery is available. If you wish to join us, we meet Thursday mornings from 9:00- 11:00 a.m. at DCC.
Friday Coffee Connection - Meets Fridays through the month of February at different area coffee shops to meet new people, renew acquaintances, chat and drink coffee or your choice of beverage. Drop in for a few minutes or as long as you can. Open to everyone who likes people and conversation. Read through the Bible in 90 Days Women's Study Group - Thursdays 9:00-11:00am (Room behind library) Begins meeting Jan. 28th, Reading Bible begins with church Jan. 24th. Learn through a 30 minute DVD teaching, followed by discussion with other women reading the Bible, invest an hour a day in God's Word. Love for you to join us!
