Nursery (birth to age 4)

We welcome children from BIRTH - Pre Kindergarten. The nursery is staffed with 2 nursery workers who are present each Sunday along with a volunteer assistant. The nursery will open at 8:15 am each Sunday and will be open through the close of the second worship service (approximately 11:00 am).

This nursery is tailored to children who need some quiet time and play time. This area is equipped with age appropriate toys and books, changing tables and sleeping areas. There is also a private area for nursing mothers.

Sunday School

DCC offers three Sunday School classes for children ranging from 3 years of age through 5th grade students. We have a Preschool/Kindergarten class, a 1st and 2nd grade class and a 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade class. The Sunday School classes are staffed by volunteers who have a heart for teaching children about Jesus. Children will gather in the main area downstairs at 8:30 am for a time of music before heading to their classrooms. Sunday School finishes at 9:30 am.

Children's Church

Children's Church takes place during the second service of worship. At 10:00, children will take part in the music portion of our main worship service with their family. Immediately following the worship portion of church, children will be dismissed to attend their own special service! They will have their own worship music (complete with video and actions) and a Bible story that corresponds to what they have learned in Sunday School. Depending on the Sunday, children will then have the opportunitey to do a craft or play a game. Children's Church is held in the Youth Room which is upstairs across from the nursery.
